The first ideas are ordinary ideas that you’ve probably heard of before, and maybe you’ve even tried them yourself.  Some of the most common include babysitting, mowing lawns and landscaping, shoveling snow, cleaning houses, etc.  Sometimes these are overlooked because they seem too simple or for whatever reason.  The truth is that these activities are in demand.  If you can find someone who needs it done and will pay you for it, do it and you’ll make money.

A yard sale is another ordinary but great money making idea.  Clear out your house of all the unnecessary junk you don’t want or need anymore and sell it.  If you have high value items, you can try selling them on eBay to make more money.  It will take a little more time, but all you have to do is list them on the site, wait for a sale, collect the money, and ship it out.

Try the internet.  Avoid scams that claim you can make $1,000 an hour, but there are other legitimate money making ideas on the internet.  Writing is one of them.  If you don’t mind writing and you’re good at it, you can get paid to write articles for other people’s websites.  This is a great, flexible source of income.  You can also try filling out surveys, but often times you won’t be able to get enough surveys where it will be worth your while.

Other than these ideas, you can probably think of other money making ideas if you’re creative enough.  Look around and look for problems to solve.  Fill those needs and get paid for it.  That is the general idea behind working in the first place.  If you’re willing to do what someone else won’t, they just might pay you for it.
